Nickel Plating Process Overview

Preparation

The part is thoroughly cleaned through degreasing, ultrasonic washing, and acid pickling to remove oil, dust, and oxides.

Setup

The part is fixtured and connected to the electrical system. A thin strike layer of nickel may be applied for better adhesion, especially for aluminum and copper.

Plating

The part is submerged in a nickel solution and electroplated under controlled voltage and current, ensuring even thickness and surface quality.
04

Inspection

After plating, the part is rinsed, dried, and carefully inspected for coating thickness, adhesion, and surface finish quality.
